EMPORIUM

My name is Erik J. Ferguson.  I’m an ordained minister in the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  Even though my official title is Rev., I much prefer pastor.  I’ve served as a pastor for 26 years.  Previously, I served churches in Lackawanna County, PA (Scranton area), Tioga County, PA (Wellsboro area), Sullivan County, PA (Forksville area), and Bradford County, PA (Bentley Creek area).  Currently, I serve the Emporium Alliance Church as its new pastor.  The Emporium Alliance Church is located on Sizerville Road, just north of Emporium. 

     My wife’s name is Bobbi.  I have been married to Bobbi for almost 31 years.  We have no children.  Bobbi has a heart to serve and has been a great help to me in my ministry.  Previously, Bobbi worked at Area Agency on Aging but left her job prior to me pastoring my former church.

     I love to teach and preach God’s Word and find no greater joy than doing so.  Some of my hobbies are fly fishing, fly tying, hunting, and shooting archery.

     I look forward to fly fishing in some of the nearby waters in Cameron County and beyond and hunting gobblers this spring and deer this fall.  Cameron County is a beautiful place and a fly fisher’s and hunter’s dream place to live.  I thank the Lord I can serve Him in such a beautiful place.
