Covid 19 Update

As you might already be aware, on Monday Governor Wolf mandated a stay at home order for our county and it later applied to the whole state.  Concerning the activities of the Emporium Alliance Church, we endorse the health measurements being put into practice.  We highly encourage our church family and friends to love yourself and your neighbor by following the recommendations and guidelines given by our authorities.

We believe that this season is a great opportunity to grow in our relationship with the Lord and to love one another in different and creative ways.

During the next weeks we encourage you to remain connected to your small group. If you do not yet belong to a small group, we encourage you to connect with one of them, giving you the chance to sense the unity of our church in these days. Contact one of the elders to be plugged into a small group, or email the church at

We encourage everyone to grow in prayer and intercession for our community and those who are going through difficult situations because of the virus.

On Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, you will find a time of worship and meditations on the Word. The worship time will either be displayed through video or a recommended playlist of songs that will prepare our hearts for the message from God’s Word. You will find these items on our web page and on our Facebook page.

The Children’s Ministry will continue to post weekly lessons that can also be found on our church’s web page and our Facebook page.

This time is an opportunity to grow in multiple aspects of life, especially in our relationships.  We can learn to better love our families, grow in our relationship with the Lord, and engage in creative ways to love those around us.  Prayer is the vital link that provides us the strength we need through this time.  During this season we will continue to invite our church family and friends to prayer gatherings online through Zoom video calls on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.  If it is not possible for you to connect online, you can still join in prayer at the same time, coming together in the presence of Jesus.

If you have any questions or need anything, please do not hesitate to reach Pastor Lionel or any of the elders.

May the Lord bless you deeply as you wait in the Lord.

Pastor Lionel
